Thanks. I am working on getting the stance a little bit better. So far I am pretty happy with it

Should be able to drop the front with the T-bars easily.

In the rear you can use a drop front hanger, an adjustable front hangar, lowering blocks or rear sliders. All will drop the rear. I would start with lowering blocks to get an idea of how much drop you need.

68 Barracuda FB. 100% stock suspension. Rear: Pro Trac 275 60 15 mounted on Cragar SS 15 x 8 w/ 4/25 back spacing. 5 on 4 bolt pattern. They fit perfect. Plenty of room between the tire and the leaf spring.
When I do the fronts, I will continue this post.

Hi everyone! New to this looking for some help. I have a 65 barracuda work in progress. Wanting to put new wheels and tires on. Have found some but not sure they would fit. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Will these fit?
Front 215/60 14
Rear 245/60 14
I run 235/60-14 rear on my -65. Original 5,5 rims with 3 3/4 BP. And I dont think I‘d be able to fit any wider tires due to the slanting rear fender. The issue is that if you still have the original 5x4 bolt pattern there are not that many rims or BP to choose from.

17x8 rears 235/55/17 and 17x7 front 215/50/17, both 0 mm offset wheels. 59 1/2" width rear wheel mounting surface to surface:

That looks righteous!
Are you happy with your experience with Diamondback? I've heard mixed reviews.
Thanks! I did have reservations, but Coker didn't have the sizes I wanted and I really couldn't afford them anyway. DB did do me a solid and notified me that the Diamond Back SS (Milestar versions) I ordered in June wouldn't be available until Nov., and offered to send me the Diamond Back III (BFG versions) instead.

Here is (I think) the largest wheel combo possible for stock 1965 Plymouth Barracuda: Front I have stock rims 5,5x14, BP 3 3/4 and 205/70-14.

Rear I have WheelVintiques 61 Series 7x14, BP 4 1/4 and 245/60-14.

I have maybe 1/4inch from inner wheel to leaf spring, and no rubbing outside what so ever. And both sizes are within 1% of stock size 195/75-14!

Figured I would post my new budget wheels.

1973 Dodge Dart
235 tire with 15x7 wheel with 4.5”
Back spacing in the back.

Don’t remember what’s on the front.

Wheels are Crager D windows that were $70.

Assuming big bolt pattern. I generally don't care for black wheels, but those look good on your car. Price is right, too

My wife keeps me busier than a centipede in a row counting contest. I’m lucky if I have time to drive the thing so I don’t want to spend all my time waxing chrome wheels.

I really don't care for chrome wheels. Never had any on a driver that didn't rust.
I'll take gray torque thrust, polished if I have to, or Centerlines, please.

1975 Valiant Brougham. I need to get the car aligned, so no trim rings yet. I kind of like the look without them, so far.
Rear - 245/60/15 on 15x7, Front - 225/60/15 on 15x6. We will see how it sits after I get the interior in and the get bumpers on.

That's a super nice car!

Fronts are 17x8 5.5BS low pad with 245/45/17
Rears are 17x9 5.5BS low pad with 255/45/17

Hotchkis rear leafs, PST torsions and QA1 upper/lowers. The wheels up front clear the 11/32nd tie rods, the rim of the weel is close to the upper control arm where the balljoint cup is but its slash cut there and clears. I forget if the factory is this way as well, this comes into play at full droop. fmj front spindles/ brakes and dr. diff 10.7 rear discs and bbp axles.

I know this is from an old post but what does "Low Pad" mean here?
