Yeah, i will probably go with chrome lugs on the back and just be done.. my main thing is when i get tired of the gears and noise i can go back to stock. Plus i will never make enough power to need big tires, just like the look :)
Ya, Im with ya there. I dont make enough power to justify 325s, but maybe someday

Whats your rear gear and trans? Are you running those pie crusts? I am hoping to get some of those towel city pie crusts someday. Not sure what I'd run em on yet so Im hesitant to pull the trigger.

727 4.30 gears.... and no.. they are ET Street 30x10.5" with the axle moved back 1.75" (the 62s have the axle too far forward from the factory)

I need new pics...

I wish i could move the front tires back some also... or if i could spare fenders, move the openings.... '62s are goofy..

I often think about moving the front assembly forward as well. Move the openings n all that. I saw it done on a Henry J once and do like the way modern cars have less nose on em. A little bit would make a huge difference. Make it so its not really obvious. Whats involved? torsion bar crossmember, steering shaft, motor mounts? Or maybe just use a B/C body torsion bar and see if its length is right.

You can see the difference in the front of door to fender distance.....but Im getting off topic....sorry.
Yeah, my issue is the front tires too far forward already.. the 62s had the front and rear too far forward.. i think it was a "Look" which is why the cars were totally redesigned in 1 year.
Can see it more here..
