This is my 74 valiant. I was daily driving it until 2 years ago when I found a rust hole in the rear frame. I had just started building a new home so it got parked outside. I'm settled into the my new house and it's time to get this thing back to its daily driver duty's.

Here is the current car

318/904/ 7 1/4
Holley EFI
2.5 inch flowmaster exhaust with x pipe
Front suspension- .990 mopar t bars, firm feel front sway bar, RMS strut rods, Bilstein shocks
Rear suspension-firm feel springs, adjustable front hangers, heavy duty rear hangers, Bilstein shocks
Interior-Sparco seats
Wheels- mustang bullet knock-offs

Plans/parts pile
New rear rails
New trunk floor
New rear bumper
Fuel tank with internal pump
Mini tubs
8 3/4 sure grip
O.D. 4spd
Torque arm rear suspension
Turbo from a power stroke (this probably won't happen right now due to the rust being worse than I expected)

I cannot believe how much worse the rust is in just 2 years.

I lay some scrap plywood under what I'm cutting so it doesn't mess up the floor when everything falls down. After I pickup all the big stuff and sweep up the rest.

The first filler panel is finished and the frame is now attached to the body at the back of the car. This allowed me to remove the extra bracing. The current plan is to remove the wheel tubs next and then start the rear suspension.

Passenger wheel tub is out. It had thin spots all over so I decided to do complete tubs. My next step is to cap the frame so it is a box. The inside of the frame will also get some reinforcement where the new cross members will go.

I am awful about keeping this stuff updated. The frame rails are boxed and the drivers rear quarter is hung. I'm working on the passenger quarter now. The drivers quarter will need more metal work to be finished but that is going to be after the wheel tubs are in.

I had a moredoor 74 dart, but i also had a 67 barracuda that needed its floorpan, LH front inner fenderwell, and torsion bar crossmember. I wish i had room to keep the dart to dissect it more because it was a solid rust free car, had really good framerails
