I ordered some Yukon 3.08 ratio gears and spider gears last night! I'm hoping to start putting in the seats this weekend!

I bought some Yukon 3.08 ratio gears and spider gears the other night and they shold be here today.. I'm hoping to have the seats in this weekend... at least the front. I got a chance to get a promotion at my job but it involves me making my commute go from a 1/4 mile to 14 miles one way. So putting the seats in and getting insulation/sound deadener and carpet in a lot higher priority then before! That exhaust heats the cabin up quick and when you don't have A/C it's no fun! Gears should help with the gas mileage and some noise I've been getting from the rearend... I had used the gears that came with the rearend and I don't know the history of the car,so there is a good chance they are worn out.

I was hoping to get the front seats in today but I need to get some rectangle tubing to attach the seat to the floor pans. So I worked on the back seat modifications and just have to do a little more to finish it. Gonna run the wiring for the power drivers seat tomorrow and clean the rear seat leather. The gear came in today as well!

Yesterday I picked up some 2x4 tubing to mount the seats to. Also got some 1 1/2x3 tubing for frame connectors. When I'm done with both I'll tie them together with brackets for extra safety.

Looking good. I think the pass through is a nice feature.
Did you shorten the rear seat?
Good idea to incorporate the seat supports and frame connectors. The other thing I will incorporate is a driveshaft safety loop.

I trimmed the bottom of the back seat bracket like you did and cut the bolster down on the bottom part of the seat.
