I want to reproduce the factory look of the sound deadener. Does anyone know the correct way beside rattle can undercoat. I have not had good luck with those. This is for inside the trunk area.
Thanks FABO

All the undercoat / deadener I have messed with smells like roofing tar when heated to melting.

You might see if a roofer has a spray system?

Otherwise the 3m spray undercoat super heavy looks pretty close.

Maybe try bed liner companies

I’ve used Rhino Liner

I got mine from restorick, was very pleased. RestoRick Online Store

if this like the stuff Frank Baldeson used to sell it really accurate.

But you need to practice with an original beside it. The application technique and gun will change the way it looks.

if you have little chunks missing you can use other types of seam sealer and brush (dabbed on it) or or other textured surface to blend in the missing section.
