Quick Jack Lift

I wonder if you could use some 4 x 4 blocks?

Of all places HD had a good price on the truck extensions a while back. Bought a set but haven't used them....yet.

I was considering buying a 2 post mid lift set up but, it was more expensive than a floor plate, full 2 post lift.
I modified my garage to allow a full lift. A car can be raised fully, an suv of pickup not so much.

Did you just modify your trusses? That is the problem with mine. Height.
Yep,
To begin with, the footer was built of concrete block and the lumber started nearly a foot tall so, walls are almost 9 feet. I was sure that 2x6’s would carry the roof safely but, 2x8’s were less expensive so, I mod the trusses and screwed, bolted, and nailed it all together. Best thing I ever done, even if it did cost me a toenail. Being over 60, laying on concrete floors just wasn’t making a hobby more enjoyable.
24 x 40 isn’t big enough but, it’s gotten a little better.

I have one and use it for when the main 2 post is tied up. Don't want to do an oil change under it but tires, brakes, and detailing work its great.

I've dropped and installed my 727 3 times. Was easy peazy. Was good option given the steel beam running the width of my garage, making full lift a no-go. Was a great compromise in my case.

Something such as this may provide easier positioning........

The 2nd video is what I did on mine at it is a night and day difference in maneuvering them. Also if you get the the pinch weld blocks you gain a ton of room.

Takes a little more time to setup but once up and locked in you never think about it again. Using jack stand is fine but they can be fiddly too. I would say the quick jack is great for longer jobs. Probably for quick stuff I would use a jack.

This is going to happen to my quick Jack's, thanks. I was already wondering when I wouldn't be able to use my quick jack because of the weight. For those of you who think these are flimsy think again, they are not.

Love mine, I have the 5000TL. I also purchased a Quickjack GlideRide Caster System from SeanstoreCA off of ETSY, works beautifully.

I know it's a little off topic of the brand, but I Love my Maxjax lifts, I have two. When not in use, I unbolt and roll out of the way. I have 3 places I can bolt them. They're great for low ceilings, but I like that I can store them when not in use. Plus I need the lift put vehicles on my rotisserie. Just passing on information;)

I looked into those also, but my garage is occupied with my 37 dodge ram, which is priority to be inside. Plus the height of the would hit the joist
