Outrageous, but I can't say I'm surprised. A few years ago I tried to find the very first bike I ever bought new, from a store, in about '71/'72-ish. I remember I paid $40 for it new, and had to assemble it myself, as I couldn't afford the extra $5, or whatever it was....^^^^^^^^^ guy want $1300
