Yes, it's a Chevy, but it was a nice blue ............ and ahhh.

Nice! As a child I spent more than a few hours in the child seat of the cart in the Wayzata and Golden Valley Red Owl stores. Damn shame when the Wayzata store changed hands...

I remember during my '68 Charger in the snow...It was terrible with such a light back end. Everybody drove their muscle cars all year. Nice picture, brought back memories.

Remember them very well we use to have a place called Speed Unlimited across the street from Andrews Air Force base but they closed up also about 10 years ago
Two buddies of mine, Richard Halliburton and Champ Kerr, got togethere and invested a few bucks in some stationery for their imaginary "K&H Speed Shop". They started placing orders for all of the guys with Holley, Edelbrock, Hooker, etc. and got wholesale pricing for everyone...no questions asked. No internet back then, so everything was done by phone or snail mail.

I worked for a local parts store, owner raced early ProStock with 69 Camaro. Called a company one day, asking about parts for a customer, ended up with the owner of the company. Boss' name and mine were the same. He thought he was talking with ex-racer boss.
