1977 Pulaski New York. 35 miles north were I grew up

I remember walking down a street over piles of snow in Buffalo in '77, and felt something flex under my feet, it was a roof of a bus. ....had to add this> my car was lost for three weeks buried close to where I had to abandon it. I left my house and there was nothing but sunshine. I drove about three miles to get on our thruway and pulled into the toll booth stop. The person there told me I should turn around and not drive to the city as there was a storm coming. I was looking around and there was nothing but sunshine, and thought she was nuts. Five miles later I couldn't see the end of my hood and there were cars bouncing off one another. It was eight days until I could get home. I had to stay at my mother-in-law's house. We were married for 5 months, and no... you know what. :( :D:BangHead::mad::realcrazy::rolleyes:

In november of 77, I moved from Jacksonville Fl to Hatfield Pa for a job. I had everything I owned in my 64VW beetle.
My new job required me to work outside sometimes!
I travelled all over the northeast and I saw a lot of this stuff!
Supposedly this was the worst winter in 100 years at that time!
I spent 3 winters there, and then wrangled a transfer to california, where I was born and raised.
