That is for wastegateIs that just a hole cut in the side of the exhaust pipe where the turbo is mounted or is there something that diverts the exhaust gasses to the turbo?
Ah, used to looking at diesels, that waste gate setup looks like a small turbo. Not much of a lag.

Actually it’s got about 9500 miles on it. I don’t post much just read alot from others. How long have you used that oil transfer pump? I had really bad luck with the exact same one. It killed brushes constantly. I did a lot of searching and came up with the exa-pump. I have had zero issues with it with lots and lots of miles.

The only limited part is the exhaust it really needs bigger headers and exhaust feed to turbo has this run was 10lbs the plan is to go 20 I’ve had much on current level especially on the street.I believe a 451 probably benefits from a little turbo lag in an A body. It looks like it's close to the limit "on the hit' as it is. Awesome job, though! The single 88 seems to work so well for anything that's making big power.

I think I got about 12k miles on mine before it gave me problems. That was years ago. The exa-pump now has over 300,000 miles on it and still works flawlessly.Actually it’s got about 9500 miles on it. I don’t post much just read alot from others.
Yes I have already thought about getting another pump just because I don't want it to go out on the road.View attachment 1715615727 My pump wasn’t from STS but from the manufacturer they use. Can’t remember the name. I kept it as a back up but have never needed it. The smoke screen it created when the pump stopped working was like something out of a James Bond movie.
