Let me know how this works out. I'm putting a fitech system on so I won't have a fuel pump there anymore. I hate the compressor sitting on top of the motor like that.I decided im going to mount the AC compressor under the alternator. ..I'll have to make custom brackets.....
I just emailed Denny. I'll let everyone know what he says.At one point Hemi Denny was making brackets that put the compressor where the power steering pump usually resides
I just heard back from Hemi Denny. He does make the brackets. Pics attached. He said $199 with spacers + shipping. I will use these for my 65 Valiant for sure.

I have an AC compressor mounted on the driver side, what I did was, have a high and low pressure metal hose made in a Z shape so I could route the high and low pressure hose from the passenger side fire wall through the passenger side wheel well. I then mounted the rubber high and low hoses up high in the wheel well under the front core support, there I mounted the dryer, then back under the core support on the driver side and up to the AC compressor. The only AC hoses that are really visible are the hose sections that come up close to the steering box and connect to the AC compressor. The added length add some R134a to the total but has no impact on the efficiency of the system.I really like Hemi Denny's brackets.
Well made and look fantastic. ...I even messaged him about them.
What I DON’T like about them is with the compressor on the driver's side, the hoses have to run around the front of the engine to the passenger side where they go to the firewall.
If it wasn't for that, I'd have bought them.
I'll be running EFI so I won't have the fuel pump to worry about.
I'm hoping I can fit the compressor below the alternator.

In FL, the shade is your friend.. Big Time!don't forget to insulate every where you can. under the carpet, behind the back seat, doors if possible. even under the headliner. also consider using heat reflective devises on the exhaust or on the bottom of the floor boards. once the sheet metal heat soaks it's a ***** getting it cool inside
There is/ was Antique Auto Air in Tampa. My bud Chris, from Acme, was a dealer for a while.... long enough to do His Fleet! Lol it was 700 a car that's everything, you install. Dealers Price...That's why this site is here. To help others.
I like it. you did a really nice job on all that. I wish you'd make one for a slant 6.In that link to my thread AC guinea pig you did see the bracket that I made?..
Got any pics of this? I wanna put AC in my 65 Valiant (factory non AC) but I don’t want big hose all over the engine bay. ChinaIn my fairly recent Classic Industries catalog, all of the descriptions for the Classic Auto Air kits say "Sanden Style"
Thanks, you really could do it without welding or at least the one I built I could have bolted it together. Really getting the compressor and the two generic brackets mounted on it. Then I used the triangle alternator bracket on the driver side of the water pump just like it's used on the passenger side for an alternator and I use the ear that comes off the bottom of the driver side timing cover that goes to a power steering pump.. then I just vice-gripped all that together till it was in the correct spot and used a little spacer to make some gaps... At that point I drew lines around everything of its contact spot and tried to unbolt it all in place then I drilled it all put bolts in it and tried it out again and when it worked I went ahead and welded it up and took the bolts out and filled the full holes with weld..I like it. you did a really nice job on all that. Ingenious! I know when I re ran the hard lines in my 02 Ram, they had one hidden, passenger side, inner fenderwell, kinda....Got any pics of this? I wanna put AC in my 65 Valiant (factory non AC) but I don’t want big hose all over the engine bay. Trying to keep a clean-ish look.

So were you able to get it mounted under the alternator? Any Pics? Im about to convert to AC and no mechanical fuel pump either.I really like Hemi Denny's brackets.
