Refreshing 360 after 10 years....

Have you looked at LVMS the Strip Schedule......Shows alot of racing....I dont know if it is correct but they just updated it....

Two more Bracket races in Dec....sat and sunday 12/5-12/6

Yeah.....i was hoping i would never post in this thread again...but the 360 is going to wake up again....Should be running again on Monday...Monday.......the mamas and the papas..
 
Got everything done except headers and adjusting the valves....plus plugs...and wires.....
 
Getting this done...one dam header bolt...always the same one...NO. 8 cylinder on the inside.....finally....

I gotta get tranny fluid in the transmission and i gave away my funnel last week...LOL........beside the fluid ...got one collector that needs to go back on ...and an O2 sensor to screw back in.....
and we can make some noise...

So in a couple of hours.....
 
Just need a funnel....lol......started tearing down that other engine.....will pick it up in the morning.....and get it running...

One thing I need to do is adjust camber in right front wheel...
 
Hopefully you’ll get back to the “race/gas up/repeat” days of old.... you’ve suffered quite enough!

Should take the TF heads and bolt them on to this 360............

Here we go again....got the front end adjustment done....wash the car.....back in the trailer ...tied down with car cover on it ...Friday TnT
 
Well....Dart made one pass down track...10.76 @ 122+.......DA 4056 ft....

Got shut off on line ....water dripping from overflow canister......emptied.....was getting too late....went home...
 
Outstanding! I'll look you up if we end up moving to Henderson in a couple of years. You should be proud of your hard work. Now you have to fix all the niggling details. Again, Outstanding, Sir!
 
yeah....the Dart ran out of fuel coming back to the pits.....daughter said it was my fault....LOL
 
Weight savings...... I'm still happy you ran that number for your first pass with a new combo. And I know the air isn't the best down there.

This motor ran last year also...not new but not many passes.....it went a best of 10.46 in Bakersfield last fall

1st pass....Dart run 10.64 @ 123.....next pass slows to 10.74......temp warms up....

1st round....other car redlights...Dart runs 10.69 on 10.74 dial
2nd round ....double break out....Dart runs 10.687 on 10.69 dial.....
3rd round.....double break out...Dart runs 10.64 on 10.68 dial...bye...bye...air cooling off...high 80s ...lol

We need to adjust shifter linkage....this morning...but they started at 1 30 pm instead of the posted 2 pm......went we got there they were calling cars to the lanes....we survived the day...will get er done.

I really like this engine...same old block we have been running for upteen years.....now .070 over...running junk Chinese heads Speedmaster...and an old MP590 cam...do you know there are better cams out there....LOL

DA 4500 ft...
