Hi I am a 14 year old building a 73 duster and I am looking for 17x9 and 17x7 rims, 4x4.5 bolt pattern
I thought a 73 (if it has disk brakes) was a 5x4.5 bolt pattern.
17" wheels with a slant 6 ?
Ok little buddy.

Here's my duster with 18s. They came off an 05 Hemi Magnum..

do you have the link to those actual rimsWeld Racing RT-S S77 Forged Aluminum Black Anodized
These come in the sizes you want. Personally I'd go to 18's for ease of fitment.

Why not? If that's the look he wants, no issues with that. I'm glad to see a 14 year old being interested in a Duster!! Better than a Honda Civic!

The issue is turning the dog slant 6 into a real dog slant six. Going to suck when the Civic smokes him.
You’re assuming the 17’s will be heavier. That’s a lousy assumption.
The 18x10’s I run with 295/35/18’s weigh the same as a 15x7 cop wheel with a 225/60/15. The 18x9’s with 275/35/18’s I run up front are lighter. Go figure.
