Hello everyone. Hope this isnt a common question. I have a 67 Dart..BBP.I was woundering whats the biggest rim and tire you can put on this car without it causing a problem and looking like crap?Your input in any way is appreciated. Thanks

i think 17x8 for wheels since ABODYJOE has them...tire not sure ask him

If the suspension is stock, stock hight or slightly lowered you might be able to go 8" with a 4 1/2" back space. I have a 67 and there is not much room back there. Now this is if you want something to fit and not rub when you have 2 or more in the car.I run 15x7 with 4 1/4 backspace and have no issues.16"rim is no problem. Never tried a 17 or 18 on a Dart. A 27" high x 9" wide tire will fit. 28" will hit at the front of the wheelwell unless you lift the rear. A Duster (Demon) you can go 9".Maybe 10" I had 18x9 with a 4 3/4" back space and they were very close to the springs. They did not rub and the car was lowered 2". Now this is just me but I hate when tires rub.

It all depends on how much work you want to do. I'm putting a 325/50R15 tire on the back of my 67 right now.

But I had to mini tub it , move the leafs in, narrow the rear end and trim the quarters a little to get it to fit. It's gonna be tight!!

Thanks everyone. The car is stock. I did notice after getting it that there are air shocks in the rear.........I figure the springs may be weak or on there way out...I dont really want to tub it and stuff. Thanks again

I have 17's on front on 18x9 out back on my dart, springs moved in but no mini tub, dropped 1.5 in in back with super stock spings.

I have 14x7 rimsssss, 235 60 14 rear very tight on one side and more room on the outer side and 14x7 on front,215 70 14 lots of room.My 69 dart like outer a bodies you will have fun fitting some rubber on the rear its very tight, unless you have air shock{ bad idea} or ss springs to lift it but very stiff ride from those springs.every Dart i had it is real tight back there unless you tub it.

17' x 8's 5inch bs in front....more tire choices.
18 x 8's 5"- 5.5" backspace in the rear....255's should fit with no problem
