I had a '63 Falcon Sprint with a 289 that allegedly came with a "3/4 race cam". Didn't know what that meant at the time (still don't, in fact), but that sucker could scream!

NOBODY knows what it means. Well, except it was a great marketing tactic to get more people to buy them. Like stripes on a car. Does not make it 1mph faster BUT it sure does sell cars.
