Here ya go Rebel, I just finished installing the whiteface gauges. I personally like it so much more than that stock woodgrain material. Sorry for the picture quality. Hope this helps you out.

How hard was it to do led lights and the white face gauges?

Excuse the ignorance - Super Clean? What is it and if it works so good I could use some. Where (department) @ Wally Mart would it be? Thanks.

I found it in the auto section of my local k-mart. It worked good. If you look a page or two back you can see it took all the woodgrain and paint off the plastic but did not damage it. Perfect for what I wanted.

well ive been making leaps and bounds with this car in the past week. I have successfully "tucked" the stock wiring harness underneath the dash and the motor starts and runs with no issues. I managed to get the 69 valiant front end together and on the car. the rear clip off a 71 scamp welded in and working on installing my cd player and heat delete. hopefully it will all be buttoned up tomorrow. I plan on getting it all done within the next couple of weeks. If all goes well the motor/tranny will be getting pulled and all holes on the firewall will be welded shut.

Hey 66 Dartman, what's with your signature "If it's not broke don't fu** with it"?

I've always been a firm believer in "If it's not broke, fix it till it is, then fix it again" - LOL

Joe V - great thread - love the car.

well i finally finished up my heat delete on the dash frame. I welded all holes in the dash frame as well and got rid of the ugly "wood grain" inserts for the later year a bodies. Its nice, clean, and simple. Works for me I just need to tidy up everything and install my new radio! Certainly getting there tho.

Why are you going a heat delete?

Dash is looking good dude!

Thank ya

managed to get out to the garage and get some work done on the scamp. I HATE doing this but it is work that must be done. I would rather do bodywork than strip paint off parts. Thank god this is over! Luckily the parts i bought had no rot or bodywork issues. Im almost ready for color! Got a few parts from mancini racing in the mail too! Should look good under the hood.

Great thanks Tom!!\\:D/ Thanks for the kind words! This is awesome news! Pm me with a price if you could.

I also managed to wire up the new radio with my bro. Sounds great while blasting some tunes to help me keep goin on the car! Im really trying to get the rear clip painted and the electrical all cleaned up. I have something wrong tho. Without the key in the ignition one of the LED's on the cluster still stays lit. I hate wiring with a passion. Hopefully my old man or neighbors can help me find where I went wrong. :angry2:

I know it doesnt look the greatest with my cell phone pic. Anyone wanna come over and clean up all that wiring you see? I have cold beer lol. Its just dirty though. Not a real bad hack job like some people would think. Im starting to really have a desire to get stuff done again. My biggest project now is getting all the wiring and battery relocation finished. I will update when I can.

nobody can come over, work on some mopars and enjoy iced cold beer? jeez i wish someone could help me with my wiring problems. I need to have this fixed once and fixed the right way!

got out there today and installed my home made door panels. They are growing on me. It really fits the look im going with on this car. clean simple and badass. Hopefully you guys enjoy!

looks "smudged" just has to be wiped down no worries. It was nice to get something done and not get aggrivated with my stupid wiring.

Joe I like it.

Thanks Cliff I appreciate it bud!

Can anyone chime in and maybe give me some suggestions and input on the best way to route my battery cable from the passangers side of the trunk to the front of the car. Some say go inside the car but others say that isnt a good idea due to the possibility of a fire. Others say if you run it underneath the car then rocks and debris will come up underneath the car and beat up the protective rubber insulation of the cable and maybe short out? Just looking for some opinions and options to hopefully get the ball rolling again. I havent been able to do much and im starting to have withdrawals :(
