anybody out there have the measurements for installing dual 340 style scoops on a hood without factory holes? how far should the scoops be from the side edge of the hood? how far from the rear edge?

i've come across several "estimations" but would kind of like someone with a set to post the measurments. thanks a ton!

ps. how wide are the stripes on a swinger bumble bee stripe? i think i may paint mine on. i'm new to this forum and don't know of anyone in the northern virginia area to get this info from... any dart fans out there around Fairfax?
 
thanks for the welcome! pretty cool to have this resource.

i saw that link and the scoops look to be about 4 or 5 inches from the rear edge but i'm still wondering about the distance from the side... looks to be around 12 inches but i want to get reeeeal close if possible.

i'm working on a 74 dart swinger that i just inherited from my grandfather. he had always wanted to make it a little meaner:evil: but lets face it, it was a grocery getter. he bought the car in 74 new. it only has 47 thousand on the 318 but it sat outside most of its life. (at least it sat on a concrete driveway)
