Fun when you run into someone who was a FRIEND
After I got out of the Navy in 74, I worked in auto parts for nearly 8 years, changed jobs, AND TOWNS and went to work for a large auto parts outfit here.
Some guy came in a few times "just looked familiar."
I finally asked him, "you ever in San Diego?" And I get that, "who me?" "Not me" "No"
But eventually he "fessed up."
In the early '70s, at Miramar, I'd run across this guy somehow working at a mechanics / speedshop, who was involved with putting big Mopars into old pickups along with "other things." He didn't treat a friend of mine all that well on a deal, and.............
Here he is, some 12-15 years later in the northern end of Idaho working over auto transmissions, and turns out to be just as big a flake "up here" as he was "down there" LOL
