I have a chance to buy a 1974 Dodge Dart swinger special. 318 2 dr hardtop. Ralley wheels disc brakes. Car is completley disassembled. Interior accept dash and column is out. Front fenders and doors are off. Glass is out. All parts are accounted for. Car was going to get a resto and owner is not interested in putting it back together. He is asking 800 but I think I can get it for 500. He claims no dents and only LF floor rusted. It is a white car with blue interior. Man I dont need another car. Kind of hard to pass up. Oh it has numbers matching engine and trans. Should I part it or put it together????

If it has a clear and transferable title, you can get it for 500 bucks and you wont be hard up for cash after I say do it!

sounds like a smokin' deal--- do it if you have the means, Lawrence

Do you have the room for it? If it is gonna be a pain in your a$$ trying to store everything then I would think twice. My .02.

Storage could be a problem. Not sure if I should part it out. I have not seen it yet. It is 50 miles away and I am going to look at it tomorrow. Doesnt seem to be a demand for this model car. Does anyone know if parts are hard to get for this car? This would be strictly a money deal. I have 3 cars already and dont need another one.

If you have room buy it . I recently bought a 73 parts car .Didn't think there was much demand for these parts .But I got a good chunk of change selling off the parts I won't be using .If I'm able to sell a few more big ticket items the car will be paying for itself. :-D Good luck in whatever you decide .

dont buy it. give me the guys number so i can let him know what i think about his shady dealing.

You had me at 74 Dart! If you have not bought it already, buy it today. BTW, I don't think #'s matching would be a big deal on a 318 car. Probably only a factor for a trailer queen and that would have to be a 340 car or better.
