The Dart is just about done now, just got to set up the front end and tweak the wiring, hope you like it. Before and after.

Thanks for your comments on my car. I really appreciate them.

For those who asked various specs are:

Wheel and tyre combo are 15x7 TTo's all round with 235 60 rears and 205 fronts. Rear's are tight (8 1/4 rear axle-origin unknown) but do clear, fronts are a little wide for my liking but they don't present any clearance problems.

Motor and trans are a 318/904 and the motor is installed WITHOUT mods to the firewall, wiper motor hump area, this conversion was carried out prior to import, but does present clearance problems regarding the LH header to steering box, which is a PAS unit. I intend to re-install the motor using the more traditional method and some home fabbed "Schumacher" type motor mounts.

I have installed disc brakes from a later "A" along with a suitable M/cyl from a later Dart (Hail to Rockauto!!!) I am unsure regarding the Tbar specs.

Any other details please ask.

Here's a 1964 Valiant V200 wagon I sold a while ago. It was nice but I barely had time to work on both it and the Barracuda (and I wasn't going to let the Cuda fall apart!)

1985 318 w/ roller cam
modern 904 tranny w/ late 60's A-body console shifter
1973 and up A-body suspension and front disc brakes
Magnum 500 wheels w/big bolt pattern.
Dual master cylinder brake system
Electronic voltage regulator

I have owned my Barracuda since 1975, it was originally Red (white stripes) and a red interior. I have had made a few changes over the years.
I,ve had mine since 1973, and it's a formula "S". Look at post #481

1 owner car; 80K miles. didn't move for 20 yrs. Mechanical resto in progress: new suspension, disk brakes, 360-904-8.75. new interior.....exterior staying as is. Only 2 parts being swapped for "better" ones : rear bumper and deck lid!

Goal: Showroom new interior, underside and engine bay. exterior: well, shitty. Not everyone favorite word "Patina" - - but at least its real! lol

I always wonder how a kool car like a early barracuda can be left to turn in to a pile of junk,,,there are so many 64/65 cudas just sitting around, sinking in to the earth,,,

I know, Ive offered to buy several of them but it hasn't worked out, yet!:wack:

you run into 3 scenerios:

1) I'm gonna restore it someday....... not for sale.
2) I saw one go for $30K on Barrett-Jackson....$500? go screw yourself!
3) For Sale: as in "estate sale".

I just found out what killed the 273 in my Barracuda; the oil pump drive shaft sheared off, just above the flats!!!!!!!!

The last one I looked at has been sitting at least 10 years, it did have bbp discs but they likely needed an overhaul along with the front suspension, it also had a bbp 7.25 rear to match (like that matters). But it was a slant six car, and had a super six setup on it. The guy was like "I've seen junk on craigslist for 10 grand, I need 5 grand out of this car.." I instantly knew I was dealing with someone that's going to have that barracuda for awhile.. And its going to continue to rot away.

Here's a few more pics of my Aussie Barracuda build. It's about 60% finished.. and yes it's right hand drive using VC Valiant Dash etc :)
