Here are some pic of my old valiant that i had to sell to get my dart 67 gts clone
it was a 1965 v100 4 door 170/904 with swedish taxi option ,like handle on the trunk and trailer-towing package.
it was never sold as a taxi probably due to underpowerd engine.

Here's a few old pics and a recent pic of my '65 daily Driver.

This car has been in my family since 1975. I picked it up from my dad 6 or so years ago. He had pulled it out of the barn after being parked since the mid-80's when he caught my brothers racing it. They were eating camaro's and firebirds with it and almost got it impounded.

The car is 99% complete, Original paint except for one door. Dents and scratches were the result of being in the barn for such a long time. Maybe one day I'll have the cash flow to restore it.

Nice collection!!

2 converts!SIGH.....

Guys, all of these early A's are beautiful! My personal favorites are the 66 Barracuda and Valiant convertible. It's too bad a convertible 66 Barracuda was never made. Not even feasible I suppose, with that huge rear glass.

Hmmm,I wonder how much fabrication would be involved to build that....

Of coarse the wife would probably take any early A vert!

Purchased 6/92, drove it home. Original 273/auto. Now 360/auto 8 3/4 391 posi. Best et 12.75@106...

Wow,congrats 65valiant, that sure is one cool ride.
Would love to own that Valiant.

BobsDart - I love it. What is your street wheel and tire combo? Any rubbing on the outside inner fenderwell? Is it the same combo when running 12.75? My plan is to get mine near your performance level.

65Valiant - If it junk, I want some. That is a very cool ride. I would love to see the double-takes when you open the hood.

65 Valiant - nice looking early Hemi - 354 or 392 version? I'm surprised how well it fits the early A engine compartment as it's a really tight squeeze in a 67 and up A Body.

Thanks Oldvart,

The headers are hooker supercomp #5208. If you get them you don have to cut the hole as big as they say..

Bob

Socal 65dartgt,
Thanks, the wheels are 15X6 Torquethrust w/205/65/15 front
15X7 w/3.75 bs w/235/60/15 radials rear. No rubbing have approx 1/2" clearance. I run 26X8.5 hoosier quicktime pros on stock steel wheels at the track..

Bob
