Damn. That's one radical 63 Dart! Great job.

we rescued this 70, from becoming a parts car

Gayle wanted to go racing
So,lately we have been throwing parts at it.
new front end,carpet,headliner,dash pad

was a headless,locked up slant
Now a 340/727 4.56/275/60-15

now we are stepping up the combo again
449 c i , Indy W-2 heads and "R" intake, Solid roller cam
E-85 950 carb and a 4200 converter...

Dang, that 70 dart thing is going to fly! Nice color too.

I know there are tons more 4 door mopars on here! Don't be shy.

My current daily driver is this early 72 Dart Custom with a 318 I picked up for cheap locally. So far I've changed the shocks, had the windows tinted, popped hubcaps on it, changed out the rear bumper for a scamp one. The car already had a 71 dart grille on it which is pretty spiffy.. Its pretty much 100% stock but tomorrow is dual exhaust day! I think this one will look cool styled as an undercover police/detectives car. Just the basic things right now, eddy performer intake and 4 barrel carb are next after the exhaust. The pics are when I first got it and how it is now.

I have a thing for more door 70's Darts, the car that introduced me to A-bodys when I was a kid was my friends 74 Dart Custom with a 318 that he hot-rodded around town. Here are some pics of the transformation that car went through, and where I just found it again being parted away in a local salvage yard, what a shame. :pale:

74 SE, has sub frame connectors, 8 1/4 355, 440 with a mild cam 727, 2000 rpm stall, and a shumacher install kit with headers, 2.5 exhaust and a trailer hitch! Going for the old mans car look. Hopefully on the road next spring.
