[WANTED] Small Block Bell housing

Hello FABO, I am looking for a small block bellhousing good for the 10.5 inch clutch for my 1965 Valiant. Hoping to find one available in SoCal.

3 or 4 speed? Slant 6 or small block?
Just so you know, '66 and earlier A bodies use a 9 1/2" clutch. If you're upgrading to the later 10 1/2" clutch, you'll need a special pivot mount and modified torque shaft to make it work. Available from Brewer's.

I think The Professor covered it nicely. You might have the right z bar already I can't remember for sure.

This is the correct one for your car but it is the smaller one.

Thank you. Yes I ordered those parts from Brewers good for the larger bell housing. That is what I am looking to do. Upgrade to the larger later bellhousing. I have most all the parts for that already, Except the bellhosuing.

You may want to specify what bearing retainer diameter your transmission has, since there are several variations on bellhousings.

I only have the smaller ones left in my stash. I dont see a 67 anywhere at the moment.

make sure this is correct...Bell housing 289 2482 = 10.5

Per Brewers on the clutch fork:

• Reconditioned original clutch fork for the following applications:
• 1966-up B/E-body with all SB / BB / 426 / Gen 3 Hemi engines.
• 1967-69 A-body 383 big block applications and used in any 1967-1976 A-body with a B/RB or 426 Hemi engine.

• We also use this fork in 1962-1966 A-body Small Block applications when using the later model 10.5″ bellhousing.
