no.

67 thru 72 are the same.

Remember that the 67 has a different idler arm bracket and requires 67 only idler arm unless bracket is modified.

Yes. Just make sure you have the corresponding mounts for whatever K you have. Only issue you will run into is the slant 6k and the v8 k for the 73-76 k frames are different. Slant 6 k will require a slight modification along with Schumacher mounts

Final question - will a 68 340 block fit a late model K-frame with the spool type mounts?

273 & 318 have a different left (driver's) side motor mount...

With a 360 spool mounts, the 340 will fit right in...

There were small block K members with a flat washer welded on the front which designated them 340 build. Does that mean anything different or special? Better/more complete welding, or just a heads up for the line workers? There may never be a definite answer. Lets just forget I mentioned the little flat washer tag until the next "What is this washer about" thread. LOL
