Post the sound bytes of your car here. I'll start.

Here's my 66 HP273 with a Isky E4 cam.

318 with Lunati 10200701 cam, Edelbrock Performer, 600cfm carb, stock single exhaust.

Let's see if this works...
Idling

Man I can not for the life of me figure out how to work flickr on this site...

Put duals on there... The stock exhaust is the single most restriction on the 318... It will run much better...

I have some 302 heads, D453 headers, and the summit duals and H-pipe all ready to go on, as soon as the damn little old ladies with the spyglasses in the HOA get bitten by rattlesnakes and eaten by alligators.

Never ever get a place without a garage and with a Home Owners' Association. :(

Before I had the duals installed on my 70 Dart Swinger 318 2 bbl, we were on the highway and I wanted to see how it accelerated to 100... I hit it from a 60 roll, and it took about a good 1/2 mile to a mile get it up there... the little engine that could...

Then after we had the duals installed, we did the same thing in about 2 blocks... It really woke it up and it was all stock with a 2 bbl...

You will see even more increase from the cam, manifold, and carb when the exhaust is freed up... You will then get the maximum benefit of the intake and cam mods... That single exhaust is really choking it back...

Give it a shot, and try it before and after you get the exhaust updated, you will see what I'm talking about... You will notice a BIG difference...

I didn't time it when I did mine as the idea came to me as I was driving, it would be interesting to time it to see the difference...

70-more door

72 Swinger still doing body work > prepping for paint

First, you should post them separate so I can give you a thumbs up for each one....

Are those max wedge tri-y exhaust manifolds in that 72 Dart??? Did you have to modify them or the car to make them fit, or is it bolt-in??? How hard was it to get them in???

Max wedge manifolds, wont fit with out moving the firewall back.
But I had to use them due to opening the exhaust ports so large.
I had taken the 540 out of the Satellite, to put in the dart and had forgot
about the exhaust ports until I went to put 440 manifolds on it.
So it took awhile to figure out how to make them work.
So, I swapped sides, moved the master cylinder over toward the fender, cut and clearance the passenger shock tower.
also moved the alternator to the drivers side.
then made some head pipes to turn the exhaust toward the rear.

the black cylinder on the passengers side is a Diesel Trans cooler, I
use it to put heat in the engine (E-85) and also cool the over drive trans (518)
the front trans cooler final cools the fluid, then back to the trans

A day early, forgive me...
First video of the car with my new phone. Much better mic and audio, can't wait to try it at the track.
