And don’t even get me started on Rock Auto, wasted more time buying their generic coil spring for the wife’s Subaru that it would take to crawl to the dealership to get the correct piece. One and done there.

I've had good luck with Classic Industries in the recent past (this spring).
I talked to a young guy about ordering the parts I needed, and he was spot on.
And the order came in ahead of time and was 100% correct.
I haven't had a problem with Rock Auto or Summit in the past either, but it has been a couple of years since I dealt with either.
I hope nothing has changed since then...

I've had great service from Layson's also. @Rick@Laysons is a heck of a guy.
 
I've had no luck ordering pushrods myself and there is a 2 out of 3 chance I tried the company that you're going to recommend LOL.

Shoulda called the fella with the Vette radiator. Knowing how often Chevy cross-fits parts, it might've been the same as the one you needed for the pickup

So have I with classics 3 orders in 3 months all came in early and spot on
 
I am lucky on radiator shop, a guy I work with, his dad owns a radiator shop.
Just give my buddy at work a radiator that needs repair, a couple days later he brings it to me.
Really reasonable prices.

It wasn't. I did call Cold Case on it though and so did Matt. After we got told to modify the car, I called them out on the forum and was met by pretty much the same thing. Several members dog piled on ME for doing it. Oh and the Summit Radiator is sittin in my livin room floor. It looks nice too. Gonna drop it by Mr. Buddy's tomorrow. We have to get all of the V8 mount and shroud stuff because this was a 6 cylinder truck. We'll know a little more about how it fits then, but it measures the same as the stock V8 radiator, so I think it'll be fine.
 
Oh and get this. Kitty and I just measured the fins per inch on this radiator. 16 fins per inch. That's a high efficiency core. Once we get all the V8 parts in, this thing'll cool like gangbusters.
 
purchased cold case Aug 2023 just installed it Sept 2024 leaks already, they want you to pay shipping to send it back for their faulty product. 3.5 years into restoration , car has only been on 4 or 5 small test drives. dont recommend Cold Case

Apparently, the only thing "cool" thing about that bunch is the company name, this seems to scream 'run like hell'.........
 
Rob, I hope you used one of GTXJOHN 10% discount coupon at Summit Racing. He’s been advertising them for six months that he had a whole bucket full.

I called them around 2010 for a catalog for my 83d250 and I'm still waiting for it. I mean nothing to them because I'm strictly a die hard Mopar guy

What I've seen via LMC for any brand, can be had anywhere else and for a better price. Kinda like dealing with Grainger for industrial supplies.
I just wish there was a classic industries or a brothers supply type place for us with old dodges
I'm so tired of being not only forgotten about not for lack of a better way to put it, exclusively and specifically excluded from rebuilding and restoration parts as a Mopar guy. I remember the commercials for LMC, "we offer parts for '47 and up Chevy, Ford, (even) international and 94-up Dodge... As if Dodge didn't even build a truck before then? Bullishit.
Just like the whole "gen" thing.... 81-93 is "1st gen" again giving the idea that THOSE were the first ever Dodge trucks? Bullishit again.
I'd really like to find a nice 65-71 D200 camper special.... But oh yeah those trucks never existed..... It's maddening

I love this comment, as it's spot-on for both!

I have to log-on to Graingers on an almost daily basis, but ever since they started selling across the counter to the Public, their prices have absolutely sucked! They sent a Sales Rep to our office about 6 months ago to ask why our business is down with them, but they didn't do anything about it when we explained the reasons. Screw 'em!

And I gave up on LMC about a year or two ago, as I can find better quality parts for both of my "bumpside" Fords elsewhere (Dennis Carpenter, NPD, etc), and oftentimes at a lower price point. Screw them as well!

Seriously, that is sad when things like that happen. I have had such amazing luck with them. I have recommended them to several friends. I hate to hear a story like that.
