Stacey David on Gearz

I thought Stacey left trucks back in the day because he/they put long hours and lots of big money parts into a really nice truck and because all the parts that was used were sponsore donated. so they had to crush the truckafter it was completed. He wasn't cool with that so he left. Correct me if I am wrong.

I'm not sure about that, but I remeber one show where he said that they sold some of the trucks (cheap) and they were gutted of thier parts and crushed.

I like Stacey, hes better than the idiots on powerblock now...

Has anyone seen the new Girls Garage, or the show with Lou Santiago and the other guy who originally did muscle car on Velocity?

The Girls Garage has the chick who was on Extreme 4x4 but really wasn't able to do anything, go figure.

The economy sucks, world looks as if its going in the shiter, and the people here with mopar problems are worried about stacey,s hair style,or lack of it,I guess all of you must be better looking and have more talent,so step up to plate and do your own show and show us how pretty you are, mrmopartech

I'm in the camp that likes Stacey D., think he's a good guy with talent and not full of himself, unlike some of the others already mentioned. That candy apple green street rod he built was cool, the old Dodge 4x4 truck build was impressive too, and the Miata V-8 with the Italian style body kit as a Cobra kit car alternative showed some of his skills. He comes across as a down to earth good guy, at least to me ...

I'm replying to a very old thread but its 2024 and I realize there's some Stacey David imposters among us. I don't know which one is the REAL Stacey David.

Old thread but, I used to like Stacey David and Gearz until the show turned into a 30 minute commercial. Every show was pretty much nothing but showcasing one product after another. It got to the point where there was very little work done on the cars.

While the sunday morning cable TV shows were entertaining back in the 2000s and 2010s It was frustrating with the container ship quantities of free sponsored items that totaled in the tens of thousands of dollars. I think the dyno runs done by all those cable TV shows were done on happy dynos to reflect favorably on those shiny new parts and assemblies. Uncle Tony featured a 440 sixpack that was built on one of those shows. Had to be a show in based Tennessee. But it was weird how the engine was well- loose fasteners and metal/debris in the oil passages. This was an engine with allll the free $$$$$$ new stuff. UTG goes off the scale with being F#$@! cheapskate but there is a place for him at the table when the alternatives are bigtime youtubers who are getting the free sponsored goodies. Thats just my opinion.

I enjoyed her and Ian on the 4x4 show.
I liked the 4x4 show a lot. I remember one show when Jesse was welding on a frame above her shoulders. A bunch if sparks fell down on her (mostly on her chest). She brushed her chest of with her hands in a rather seductive manner. Ian said, "Well, we just lost our G rating."
