Sundown here. I expect the explosions to begin any time.
Used to drink a lot of soft drinks. All but quit, switched to water years ago. Dropped about 10 lbs immediately.

Talked to my brat in Phx earlier, it was raining at the time. Getting a sinking feeling about the Shootout at the oval track.
Looks like snow for a while yet...

The rain is still coming down in buckets here and the radar shows at least another 2 hours of it. So far, still not a single pop of fireworks of any significance.

That didn’t last long. 3 minutes and it was over. I’m betting everyone quickly went home to get warm and dry.

Oddly enough, mine was pertty OK with explosions, gun shots, thunder as pup and most of her adult life. Last maybe four years started with the anxiety from that stuff. She's better about it when outside. She's also been better about it the last 1/2 year or so - maybe due to hearing loss...

There were a few when we started our walk at 8:30 or so. Rain was light enough that I only realy noticed it under the street lights. Must have been enough to discourage the paper balloon launch.
However by the time we got back home, it was starting to rain cats.
