Stop in for a cup of coffee

The tooth saga was a complete clusterf*ck today. They got me in and all numbed up and began to probe the tooth. They couldn’t get the crack to flex or move at all. After about 15 minutes of probing (I had been in the chair for an hour already) the surgeon stopped and said he wouldn’t remove the tooth.

There is still an abscess under it and he thinks the tooth can be saved by a root canal so he’s sending me to a specialist to open it up and see if it can be saved. If not, then I go back to him to remove it.

I said screw that, just take it out. He said sorry, I can’t...your blood pressure is too high right now. I called your primary care doc so you can go see him and get your pressure down before I do the extraction if it becomes necessary.

So now it’s another week of antibiotics, make appointments with docs and try to get my blood pressure down while living with this pain.

:BangHead:
That sucks!

Snap on makes a plier for that!
These

Probably pull tooth and blood pressure wil go down. Catch 22.

Was a long day, but got it done.

It never ceases to amaze me what people will use drywall screws for.
I tried to ban them from the workshop, but they are occassionally useful...

So Dd back to bourbon antibiotic and Tylenol? That just plain suks, how did you not strangle the surgeon today?
That is one of those scenarios whereas I totally go all redneck. My wife just grabs me by the shirt and physically drags me out as I become a total dick. As long as nobody moves I can shoot myself in the foot quite well.

Speaking of dry wall, me and wife are now officially not speaking, on plus side bathroom is officially remodeled. Note to self never work side by side with wife on home improvement. Hah!
Been there done that. Dont know why, but we get along now during the home maintenance/reno stuff.
She has an uncanny habit of moving the next thing or tool i need.

This one time many years ago, when my fuse was much shorter she re-arranged the kitchen. After about the third drawer i opened looking for something i proceeded to empty them on the floor.
Last drawer i pulled open had what i was looking for.
Things dont get moved without a discussion now.
I used to get a lot of headaches back then..

Well made it home without incident. Car ran great. Not digging the low voltage at idle with fans on. Also gotta get the exhaust toned down a bit. Ridiculously loud. Although the fact that it basically a bare shell it drones bad! Getting sound deadening on the roof and floor along with carpet etc. should help a lot. But overall I’m pretty excited that it’s a driver.

Maybe this would help with the side by side stuff??
