Stop in for a cup of coffee

Pretty nice here today, W-2s are in, and I'll stop by HR and make sure the doctors have sent the paperwork they are supposed to.

Bandage will come off today...it has a battery powered pump that keeps a gentle suction on it, you just throw away. I'll feel more normal (?) going out in public without a little box on me. Time for a walk on the beach, tired of looking pale. I am off the rest of the month at least!!
Good to hear you are on the mend. Chris as well.

Great to hear you are feeling a little better, Chris. Hard to keep a Mopar die-hard down for very long.
my wife and the nurse were making fun of me yesterday. I was doing math sitting there to figure out my final drive ratio and rpms now with the t56 vs the 833 which was my first plan.

Im using a 3.23 suregrip 8.75 (for now, may step up to a dana 60 and sell the 8.75)

with the 440 and the 833, assuming a 26 inch tall tire. to run interstate speed of 70 mph, I'd be spinning about 3000 RPMS.

Now same engine and tire, with same rear, using the T56, I'd be running about 1900 RPMS.

Question is now, is that 1900 going to be too low in 6th gear and should I step up that rear gear? The 1st gear ratio is a 2.66:1 in the t56 vs a 2.44 in the the 833.

tastes nasty as hell.
In which case you may be SOL eating in the UK. Thats a basic condiment, especially with fish and chips.

Morning all. Been in and out of the hospital since Sunday, lots of tests. One more this afternoon. Freaking WiFi here sucks, blocked the forum, couldn’t get anywhere on it really except for Facebook and the a couple news sites. I couldn’t even do my homework for my masters classes. And they put me in a room with no cell signal...
So your wife took you in and had you locked in a room by yourself. :poke:
:p
:welcome: back :)

Tremec has a toolbox App. Allows you to plug in ear trans gear ratio, tire size, etc to figure it out. Or reversed if you know all the other info. It also allows you to use your phone as an angle finder to calculate your pinion angle and such. Free and very helpful.

Thanks!! will have to go check that out

I used it when building both my rat rods. And when bored you can look and see...hmmm, if I change ratios and tire size I can go how fast....? Also, I used it to approximate my speed for each gear as I have no speedometer in the car...

He keeps persisting on the brass inserts...

If he wants to poo poo on my threads, I'll nit pick his...

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...

That SOB on FEBO wants to keep persisting... :mob: :drama:

So I started throwing stones back at him in his ad for the Hemi engine that he's asking $30,000 for has a repaired block.... :poke: :BangHead:

FOR SALE - 1970 426 hemi engine

If he wants to start something, I'll finish it... :icon_fU: :elmer:

Hopefully this will get him to back off....

Wtf?
Seriously?
Fukkity fuk fuk!!View attachment 1715276123some moron screwed the heat shield into the gas tank. How the hell do i fix this? Rubber washer and epoxy will have to do. 3/4 tank of gas, needs fuel pump and everything is siezed/stuck or brittle. No respect.

When I was in college, I had a beater 67 Barracuda fastback and the gas tank had some surface rust... After wire brushing it off, there were small pin holes where the rust was, so I caked on a bunch of JB weld and it held well for the few years that I drove it daily....

It's Willys Wednesday :D. We'll have bright sunshine shortly, but for how long is another issue. No wind chimes  first time in a week they've been quiet. 18 days until asphalt oval racing :D

I did that on my 74 charger, it held for the 3 months I drove it before blowing the transmission out of it

I reported the guy's post. The Mods or Joey will have to deal with it. At least you are getting free bumps. :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

Evening all...hope everyone has been having a great day. Chance of freezing rain/drizzle tonight, then starting the workday with a 4 hour meeting...will need coffee...

We had light drizzle freezing rain last night while I was at work... Enough to make the parking lot slippery when I was walking to my car after work early this morning...

I took it slow and cautious on the drive home...

Luckily the plows were out spreading rock salt and brine....
