Stop in for a cup of coffee

Just my $.02 (but after spending $$$ some years ago) about rims...they are like neckties. You buy a tie that looks so great, but a few years pass and somehow it has become an ugly tie. That is my experience with my '67 Fury, looking back at pics with the rims I got, I wish I had put on some factory 15" wheels and used the dough to get the a/c fixed or something.
yeah but I currently have 14 inch rusty and bent steelies lol

I got lucky with a really nice used bumper last year for front, but I know this rear bumper for Cinnamon is going to end up more than I hoped. Saved a lot on rechromed bumper - $250 plus shipping cost by Tim TBD. vs. Would have been $650 for a rechrome from Tri-city. But now trying to find suitable bumperettes. Tri-City wants $85 each to rechrome them. But the ones I have are junk - not going to spend good money on those. So need to find/buy them. 1 NOS on ebag right now. $60 for the chrome and another $50 for the rubber insert. But I've been told NOS will not match rechrome anyway. I need to take mine off and verify, but I don't think the rubbers on mine will be reuseable. Pretty sure they have studs and attach with nuts from inside and they will come apart in little bits. lol

Yep it's only rims, nothing you can't change if you get tired of them. Also, my Fury was a 4 door sedan, perhaps that's why when I look back at pics, it's like "what was I thinking?"

Use a carbide burr and carve the nuts off.at least they wont be totally trashed.

The rubber same as mine? I have a few bumperettes around from when I was looking for a good pair.

If they are anything like the studs that held them on the bumper, it would not be worth the effort.
I changed them out with carriage bolts.
Not even sure the rubber is worth saving anyway. I think these studs are molded into the rubber. I'll get a good look at them and see if they are worth saving. The original inner bumper had big holes in it. Road salt was hell on these cars around here and back bumpers are one area that got the worst of it.

Everybody getting ready for snow?
Yup. If we get that mix then really cold after it is a mess around here with all the hills. And of course we have to feed Rons cat this weekend. And the truck is down. I know my car wont make it up his driveway almost killed us last year with the cobalt sliding backwards on the raised part of the driveway over the stream. Tractor sucks on ice also. I have the rugged tires on it and they slip really bad on ice. Snow no issues. Hope he leaves the jeep over here so we can use it to get up there. I know I cannot do the climb and Marilyn also.
