I would have to wear my bifocals up side down. Working on underside of cars on a hoist,bifocals dont work.they trued to sell me bifocals, and convinced me enhanced readers is what i needed. Garbage. Worst decision i ever made. Will be 2 pairs wgen the time comes
 
Before I retired and found that I was having trouble with reading my batch console monitor. I went to Dollar Tree and found a magnification that worked well. Seldom wore them outside unless I was doing something intricate and let's face it, rock plants and asphalt plants don't have a lot of small parts. I would always pick the most outrageous frames in the $1 rack for work. If they broke, no big deal, I had spares. It wasn't uncommon to have to zip tie a lens back in place to make it through the day :lol:.

Tried to buy cheap readers. Need 2 identical pairs with different magnification so i can swap lenses. The glasses they stock here are different frames for different lenses.
 
****, now they are predicting 4-8" of snow and windy.
 
I honestly think it is all the computer work and the damn smart phone that are killing my eyes.

Could be, my wife works behind a computer all day then comes home and does it even more, hell I get dizzy some times if I set in front of mine for over an hour or so

The scrolling can make me dizzy. Motion sickness.

Looks like the harsh weather will miss the SC Low country.

I stopped by work yesterday, it still hasnt sunk in that I may be off part of Feb even.

Had to laugh at Chris's wife being driven out of the house by his farts. The kind you get after surgery on your guts is so bad, I must have stepped outside 20 times so I wouldnt kill my sister. Gator farts must be that bad. :lol:

Sounds like we will get a little tonight. I gave up trying to understand the forcast for the weekend. Seems to change hourly.

Mine is plastic and pretty deep. It does go through an air space getting to the well though. Have a block room over 6ft deep. Completely underground except for top concrete slab. Entrance by ladder Plastic tubes come out of the wall. Then into the well head in floor.

So now that the dart's transmission is purchased I'm saving for the next big ticket item, rims and tires. I already know what tires I'm getting, but trying to decide on rims.

Nope. And the rims are cheaper, by a 1/3 than the transmission. To me, major ticket item is 1000 or more.
 
Just my $.02 (but after spending $$$ some years ago) about rims...they are like neckties. You buy a tie that looks so great, but a few years pass and somehow it has become an ugly tie. That is my experience with my '67 Fury, looking back at pics with the rims I got, I wish I had put on some factory 15" wheels and used the dough to get the a/c fixed or something.
