Unthaw comes to mind...
Like people who say “I could care less.”

When what they mean is that they “couldn’t care less”

My personal pet peeve is when people say “I will try and do that.”

It’s “I will try to do that”

You can’t try and do.

Supposably, I mean for all intensive purposes, their all words per say..

I need to break myself of saying VIN number. VI number seems silly though.

made it in to work on time. Some areas had roads clean. Others barely touched. But with minimal traffic, it was no problem getting here. I think there are about 8-10 people that came in out of a shift of about 50. A lot of first shifters left early. Which was probably the worst option as far as road conditions.

Yeah, it’s only going to get better for the rest of the night. In a few hours it will be above freezing and we are supposed to get a half inch of rain. 55* and sunny tomorrow.

Not good out there now, 4” of snow on the ground and we have been getting light freezing rain for the past 2 hours. Right now it’s a freezing fog/mist.

-6 ended up being the high temp today. Suposa snow but it dinna.
Pizza in the oven.

Hah!
My former employer, well not really but the parks supervisor dropped off one of their trucks.05 super duty. Gutless. They have spent over 10 grand to keep this thing on the road. My turn to make some money.

Not sure how much snow we got yet but it’s far from done....10” or more predicted for this weekend....I’m guessing we got at least 8” today....my snow piles are getting big and the snow is getting close to the top of my marker sticks! It’s good to finally have a real winter....I ❤️MN :)

Like the plow truck. My 80 power wagon was too light and short for any heavy pushing. This is the second winter it has been stored under a roof since it was new. I think.

I spent most of the evening giving my daughter art lessons and guiding her through her latest painting, explaining techniques and giving her tips. She is getting really good at this!

It is in the blood Dave..
She has it in her blood for sure!

She also has the tremendous advantage of 2 parents who are artists and a grandmother who is too. Between all 3 of us, she gets over 120 years of education, experience and learning to help teach and guide her with focused attention for as long as we are alive.

You can’t get that kind of 24/7 advantage even in the finest art schools in the World.

I think she is just beginning to understand that. :)
