Stop in for a cup of coffee

Think the last time I used one was setting up Rons front diff on his Jeep with him.

I bought a new snappy torque wrench, for torqueing wheel nuts.
Wrench was on my desk and snap on truck just rolled out.
Gentleman rolls in and says his car is making a funny noise.
All of his wheel nuts were loose.
Put that baby into service the first day i got it. I use it almost daily.

Been looking at a MOPAR salvage yard. Wildcat Wrecking in Sandy, OR. Lots of positive comments. Think I'll call and ask about my carbuertor.

They might have something for you. Desert Valley in Arizona might be another place.

I can see you using it daily. There was a whole procedure we had to follow before using it including breaking it on the low, med and highest setting three times in each direction. That's why when you walk around in a USAF hanger you will see a fixture mounted somewhere to do that on. Usually just some old sockets welded to a plate on a I beam seems to be the most common. Sucked when you were outside and needed one you had to go in and break it!

I used to sell the split beams for that purpose. You can leave it at the set torque and they don't loos calibration as quickly as the micrometer style. Click the liver, spin the dial, click the lever closed. Easy to adjust. The split beams aren't quite as accurate but that's splitting hares at 100 ft/lb.

We lived in Oregon for years Wildcat is great. Be patient when calling them, they move at their own pace but they are great guys and do what they say they will.

Maybe suggest to the boss you'd volunteer to stay behind and take care of any post conference issues.
Or just tell him you'll work from your new remote site for a couple more weeks.
Of course the boss at home might not approve any of this.

@ZMan67S , He and 4spdragtop (Steve) are on a first name basis. Maybe he knows how to get a hold of him.

Looking at that pile not sure if he has an inventory sheet...:D
