Well, brother in law isnt bringing his truck in to have transmission checked.
It croaked. I suggested he take truck to the rebuilder and let him tackle the whole job. He does R&R chaeper than i do.

Wow just found a Carb shop that bought a inventory and he is selling a bunch of nos mopar vac advances. See if the offer sticks!

Got a message from Steve @ Don's, they cancelled it because of the fine print thing. No biggie. I'm gonna simply re-order and just select the one bonus item.

Well the guy took the offer. Hey any time I find Mopar NOS advances under $20 have to grab them all! Well off to Uber the wife to the wally mart, later!

On to next conundrum.
F150 grinds starter, almost like timing is off. But after listening to it crank, im thinking ring gear and bendix arent getting along very well.

I have a question for you.

Coworker has a suv with the ford ecoboost turbo v6. Took it in for an oil change, tech put on the WRONG oil filter, one that had the same diameter and thread pitch, however was a full 1.5 inches too short. Immediately after the oil change, she got in it and didn't even make it out of the parking lot before a trail of white smoke was pouring from the exhaust. had it towed, shop told her the turbocharger is puking oil. can a filter that's too short result in a spike in oil pressure to blow past the seals in the turbo? Thing only has 45,000 miles on it.

At dinner tonight, live singer, American songs, barely....lol

Oil starvation will burn up seals quick. I doubt smaller filter would cause it. Warranty.

Gonna be time for this dude to get ready for the doctor appt. Not looking forward to it at all.

I had a Chebbie 4.3 v6 in our shop back in the day for an oil change. It was over filled by less than 1/2 quart and it blew smoke like it was in fire! Ended up having to drain, the extra oil and replace the plugs.

better to find and fix...
I had EKG yesterday. No problems. Just put my monitor on. It's one patch on chest with a little module on it. No wires! Bluetooth to phone on belt holder that will call them if it picks up a problem. Also records any odd reading and will auto dial them if serious. Gonna wear for one month...

Hope all is well with you too.
