I hear rain, rain and more rain outside. The 3” of snow on the ground is fading.

At 200’ above the valley creek, the entire Eastern seaboard would need to flood over 300’ and the oceans would need to rise the same before we ever have to deal with a water problem here.

Rain instead of snow is a blessing!
 
I was talking to Ted Stephens from Alabama. They need to shut the water off. Like our snow. I think another inch and it will be the snowiest on record for us. The thaw and the flooding is the problem.

31F and all the wet stuff is white here. News just said up to 8" in isolated areas. I feel we may be very isolated since we had 6 an hour ago. Temp will hover right around freezing till sundown tomorrow, then plunge to 11 overnight.

This won't be too bad. But we are getting to that time of year when a quick thaw can be disastrous.

They (Alabama) just got nailed by a twister too. 14 dead so far. Yikes
 
Ticker on tv just changed the death toll to 22. Still pulling people out
 
Checking in to see how all the snow bunnies are doing??
A big zero outside here this morning...nothing though compared to Frank, John, and Eric.
 
We have an extended warm up starting Thursday. Not much 40's for the extended forecast, I'll take it.

To slow already looked. My mini split has a "I feel" button. I push it and it is the ambient temperature.
I guess if the controller is in the garage then it measures the garage temp.
When its running at 46 degrees and I push the I feel button it seems to push warmer air than normal.
