Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have 2 years of hard use on my Toro. It needs a scraper and new paddle/auger rubber. If we get the big snow next week I should dig the old 2 stage out of the garage.
Mine is a Toro
CCR 2500E,
1997...Have changed those several times. Don't wait too long like I have done or it will wear metal... I have welded and changed other parts. :BangHead: Never done anything to the original Tecumseh engine - still running good.

I started with the old paddle wheel 2 cycle throwers. They worked good but the newer ones have a discharge chute that will throw a little rearward. I have places I need that. The new 4 stroke's start with a single pull and no mixing oil or that 2 cycle smell.

I think mine is a 518 model.

Not much, but this chute will turn back past 90degrees. And other than the first start of the season, it almost always starts with one pole. I rarely use the electric start. (plug in)

Its snowing, but like dust. And sun is trying to shine. Starter is out and at 2:00 i will have the new one.

Dang! I have been plugging that bumper guard number into every parts search I can find with no luck. Only pic I found comes back with one that looks like a front contour. It has correct description and is in box, but that doesn't mean its in its correct original box. Hopefully they respond to my request for additional pics. I think they only have one anyway. But want to confirm that # is correct. Have one possible used set. Which is my preferred option anyway. I will need cushions if I buy NOS. I could steel them off this set of used I have that are in great shape. But would rather keep them together and resell. Probably going to clean them up and list here soon.
