I am doing great, spent a day with Treva and then came home to company, my nephew donated a 54 inch smart tv to the shop, today I mate the trans and 366, or should I put the 360 in by it's self?? it's a 904

I like to bolt the engine to the trans before dropping it in the car... I have one of those engine harness/levelers that I use on my engine hoist when installing engines so I can tilt the engine up and down to guide the transmission down and into the trans tunnel... Then level it back up as you drop the engine on its k-frame mounts...

The leveler that tilts makes engine pulling and installing much easier... Being able to tilt the trans downward to get it in the trans tunnel as you get the engine in makes it much easier....

Fit the headers to the engine just before you set the engine completely down... Then drop it onto the k-frame mounts.... Have them both loose in the engine compartment before you drop the engine in... Tie them up with some string or wire coat hanger to hold them until you get the engine in enough to install them on the engine...

Watch the trans lines and make sure that they don't hang up on the radiator support when lowering the engine...

That's a must to watch as you maneuver the engine in...

It's nice to be able to tighten them to the trans before dropping it in...

You can also install the starter before dropping the engine in it's easier to do that way also...

Have the headers on the engine before dropping it on the k-frame mounts....

Leave the transmission cross member off until you get the engine in and resting on the front mounts, then with the engine still connected to the tilting tool, raise the back of the trans until it just touches the floor boards, then install the trans cross member with the four bolts and then lower the back of the trans on the mount after installing the cross member, then line up the trans mount holes and install the two bolts for the trans mount...

Have the trans mount bolted in the trans cross member first, then put the cross member on and then bolt the trans mount to the trans... I use a phillips screwdriver to help line up the two trans mount holes to the trans after setting it in place...

Ya right stuffing the ballot box with all those illegal voters...

I was looking at the Goodguy car show in Des Moines 5-7 July.
Gee we could hit it on the way to Carlisle.
Wonder if I can talk Cheryl into that??

Or just let the cat waiting outside our door in the hallway in... Then I could ask.

I think it's be a great trip!!
I know though she wants to go back to the 4th July car show an hour down the road.
We took Best of Show at the 4th July Walter P Chrysler show last year, about 250 cars.
This year their show t-shirt and dash plague features our car.
With that she feels we need to support the show and take the Barracuda back to the show.
