Stop in for a cup of coffee

You guys are killing me with all the yard work chatter. We still have a couple of feet of snow on the ground. But we are looking at a place in Ark to buy that is sitting on about 100 acres so I will get some yard work in at some point! Hah!
Thinking about moving South? I don't blame you. I wouldn't mind warmer weather myself.

Morning to all you Moparian mad men and one women. Supposed to be over freezing today so let some serious thawing begin. I am awaiting a box from Classic industries chock full of goodies for the Demon, nothing gets me cranked up with motivation like a box of parts. It is mostly sheet metal replacement parts as I am now an aspiring body man! Replace one inner fender and now I think I actually know what I am doing! Hah! Calendar sure is filling up with summer time adventures! Looks like a busy summer. Wife and I may end up in Colorado in May, Rainy if you are within 4 hrs of Denver let me know (PM) and wife and I will take you and yours out for a snack! We are also going to go to Wyoming where my Aunt who is 78 years young is getting married! She has asked me to give her away. It will be a hoot. Throw in 1/2 dozen car shows and next thing you know summer is booked! I am replacing a trigger today on a Springfield XD the trigger is a powder river, in theory drop in, we will see.
Where in Colorado?

Cold start here today. Looks like they added a few nights below freezing to my forecast. :mad:But so far none of the precip is timing with it for white stuff.
Similar here. Saw a puddle on the roof was frozen this morning.
Needed to be inside yesterday anyway.

Worked on some scheduling last night - running out of time to get the car ready.

Good morning c\_/. Not much to chat about. Pondering windshield R&R for Honda Odyssey. D.I.Y. with a part yard glass to save 200. Its a BIG piece of glass.
@toolmanmike Several years ago there was a bunch quite large terracotta chimeneas made in Mexico sold at our local flee market. Seller kept a fire going in one. It was warm but very little view of fire. Buyers learned that if they ever let it fill with rain they had a mess. If the water freezes the chimenea cracks like similar flower pots.
Pic attached is what I have. Came from Tractor Supply about 5 years ago. It came with a vinyl cover but of course it has to go cold before I can put the cover on. It has a screen on top so ashes don't fly all over.

Thanks Looks like a dandy. Our patio is between the house and garage and sometimes a little heat and fire would be fun. We have a fire pit but it's in the yard but somewhat protected. Not quite as much fun. Your backside always gets cold. LOL

Wife says she'll make a new cover from a used pool liner. Hasn't happened yet. Light blue cover will match and look great though. I should crack the whip LOL
p.s. We never knew how to change the date on the digital camera. pic snapped this morning.

I spent four hours in the yard yesterday. A majority of the time was on my hands and knees.
Surprisingly I don't feel too bad. Probably hit me tomorrow...haha.
One more afternoon and I should have the cutting and raking done.
Still need to go get a load of mulch and wash down the house (vinyl siding), windows, and screens.
Be all done by Friday...I hope.
Oops, just saw the weather for tomorrow. 60's but windy. :BangHead: not good for raking leaves. I think this afternoon will be a better choice.

Where in Colorado?
We will be in Denver area, I don't mind a couple hour drive at all to meet up with FABO folks. Jaws if you are anywhere close send me a PM and we can sort out how to go about it. Same offer, wife and I will find ya,and take you and yours out for a snack. Like so many on here reaching out and meeting the folks on FABO in person has just been an absolute blast. We have made great friends, and the wealth of knowledge is just amazing. I would still be staring at my car wondering how to replace inner fenders had not FABO Fred came to my shop and guided me. It was a 3 plus hour drive for him that he did not need to do, but did it anyway. Once upon a time laying on a gurney staring up at a Navy Corpsmen I made a solemn oath to never again take a day for granted. As a result I have lived every single day since. A couple hour drive to fellowship with a like minded creature is simply good Karma! This site is just filled with good folks. We will be in Denver 3rd week May at this point, not confirmed yet but it is a definite, for sure, possible, maybe.

Using mine... screen doors pretty much always open. The chair placed there we call "poke and stoke". He who gets up looses that seat.

We have a propane fire pit on our deck. Push a button and instant fire. Works great!
