Stop in for a cup of coffee

I've got a grill question for you all. I've got a Charbroil gas grill and it just does not get that hot. I rebuilt it with new stainless tubes etc, but it seems to be lacking on flameage. We dont want to go back to charcoal and want to keep it gas.

I've looked at Webers but holy crap the price for gas grills is insane. Maybe Im being cheap but its really hard to justify 4, 5 and up for a gas grill. So what do you all have for grills that you really like and rough cost.
Well you'd better get it figured out before we all show up at your house and MPIP!!:D

The few times I used gas I had just the opposite problem TOO MUCH HEAT.

I bought a Pit Boss a couple years ago and have had much success. It has a sear plate (trap door) over the fire box so you can sear steaks and burgers. Mine is a 700 model and cost about $300. Here's some samples. Hungry yet?

Simple stuff like baked beans or meatloaf is so tasty. Smoked mac and cheese is a hit as well.
I was as nervous as a ***** in church when I smoked my first brisket. A $45 piece of meat and what if I ruin it? It was fantastic!

Sears.com
no complaints...

Locally built bulldog barbeques.
Pricey though. And not gas.
Said he was designing a kit to run gas.

Wow just found this. I was into the old bikes in Hawaii and got to be friends with the wallnecks and they asked me to write a story I told Buzz, they published it in the old bike trader!

Bloody wind is at it again. Opened up the lid on the BBQ pit, wind decided it was havin' none of that. Lucky I still have all my fingers. Brought my tomato based adult beverage back in the house .
