Amazon is the new digital equivalent of what Sears used to be.It still confounds me that the King of mail order (Sears) didn't see the handwriting on the wall 20 years ago and get out in front of it.
Sears just lacked the vision to get out of their retail box store transformation from their catalogue mail-order roots before it was too late. Why they never partnered with Amazon (even in the past few years) is beyond me.

Sears is no more up in Fargo. They went tits up last year up here.

Fargo is the biggest city in the State! Yep maybe 30,000 people?
It is a honking booming metropolis! But it is home to the Bison, 7 straight national championships in football. Stadium seats 18k! If I could only remember what obscure league they are in. Hockey rules here so it is all good for me!

Same as they do with all the other Amazon vendors.

Exactly why they needed (and still need) to do a deal with Amazon who are experts at it.
Their product base is good, they just don’t know how to best market and deliver it...but Amazon does.
