Last Thursday, we started digging holes for the fence, the ground water table in this area on the farm at its peak during most normal years is 6 feet beneath the top of the ground. Thursday, we hit water 18 inches down. And it hadn’t rained in 4 days.
You should be able to add a link to a how to thread.
That sucks for crops.

Yeah, look for a lot of bankrupt farmers this year. Lots of barren field here and in the plains. Honestly, would not be surprised if there is a drought and dust bowl this fall from all the unplanted fields.
