Stop in for a cup of coffee

Great. Deck isnt happening this year. Now wife is in bathroom renovation mode. Jeez like i dont have enough to do.

Hey Mitch. See the car i bought?
That car is clean and popular sister car to my 67 belvedere 1, 2 door post car lol.

I have reason to believe this car was owned by a church at one time. I could see a thick framed glasses wearing man with a clergy tie driving this car, while the sister car (your car) is going topless down main street with heavy red lipstick, late at night and avoiding cops and needing an intervention and lecture on responsibility.

LOL

I actually know of a Dark Green with black interior, 1967 GTX Hemi/4spd sitting here in town. Unfortunately he wont sell and it is being reclaimed by mother earth. Has been sitting since the early 70's. So sad...
Only one here that was hard for me to get over, is a 75 duster 360. 1 owner original.

That car is so sexy with factory buckets/ console. Am/FM radio and racing mirrors.

Only down is some idiot chucked the rally wheels for some stupid looking keystones.

The plus is they stopped with the wheels, still has the original TQ and air cleaner. Most people will chuck that for some "look at me, I'm an idiot" chrome or worse yet, edelbrock logo everywhere garbage.

It's so sweet, even has all the original vacuum lines in place and Chrysler corp. Decals

Hey checking in from Carlisle. I’ve seen Mopar Tim and Hoppy so far. Tim was busy buying parts and selling this afternoon. He’s sitting there under his pop up sitting in a recliner...LOL!!
Hoppy was setting up and sweating his skinny butt off. He did however have a cold beverage nearby at all times...humm maybe that’s why it was taking so long.
I spent most the day with my parts buddy John. Watched him buy a couple thousand worth of parts and resell them for twice what he paid. For example got a Hurst 4 speed shifter for $300 and sold it for $600. Amazing what people will sell and buy. It only gets better the next few days.
Looks like rain tomorrow afternoon. Sunny and hot Friday and Saturday.

76* this afternoon 10-15mph sea breeze :D pretty darn pleasant. Took a ride up the coast today to look at a hot rod gas miser for those long trips to Phx to visit the granbrats.

Evening everyone!
Did a service call to check out a boat that stopped.
Guy was pulling his grandkids around on a tube. Stopped motor (4.3 gm) omc. So kids could climb into boat
Wouldnt crank back up.
Said it made strange noises when he stopped engine.
It was locked up. He thought battery was dead.
It was hydrolocked. All 6 cylinders had water in them.
Pulled plugs, dried it out and fired right up.
My educated diagnosis is engine hadn’t come down to an idle, when he shut it off it ran on.
Then it bucked and did a couple backwards revolutions and sucked water in through exhaust.
Not bad considering he figured he seized it.
Was a nice evening on the waterfront, sorted out a disaster (no charge)
Did my good deed for the year...

Ha well welcome to the party and enjoy your roller coaster ride into town.
Get out there early today suppose to rain all afternoon.
Clear and sunny though Friday and Saturday.

So much for my Carlisle plans. Taking dog to vet. Looks like I’ll be getting a much later start than planned:BangHead:
