Stop in for a cup of coffee

I barely got the back grass mowed... A storm came in and started raining, but I kept going until it picked up and was able to just make it before it started coming down stronger...

Whew....

Did you make Carlisle?
No. I had forgone making plans for going to Carlisle and made plans instead to be here for a vehicle pick-up that a former friend committed to....and backed out of at the last minute leaving me screwed.

Maybe next year...

Maybe.

I’m trying to remember who I missed linking up with. Someone said they were going to be there this morning but I can’t recall who

Not me. I had no plans to be there since I had other plans made long before.
I think next year, I’m gonna talk the wife into camping up there. There’s a real nice campground I found not far from Carlisle, maybe an hr?

There are many nice Campgrounds. This is a beautiful state. These weathered old Mts have a special place in my heart.

Evening.
Nice pickerel dinner at buddy’s house.
A bit of visiting. Found some suspension parts cheap for the 69,will pick them up tomorrow or monday.
4 coil springs, panhard bar and brackets. A good start.
Decided we wilp pull the vortec tomorrow, and i can disect the wiring harness.

Why you should never leave your newer Charger Daytona parked too close to the shoreline when a hurricane is coming in...

Does this look like a good place to park? Sure, it’ll be fine.

I learned my lesson when we got stuck in lake winnipeg 30 plus years ago.
Drove onto beach, turned around and couldnt drive out. Would go backwards-int the water but not forwards. Cost us every dollar we had to get a loader to drag us out.

Chain pickerel? They are some good eats. Closely related to Walleye. Most pike and pickerel are, including muskies.

Riddle me this.

On the drive thru PA, I averaged 19.2 mpg there, 19.4 mpg back,

But in Ohio and Indiana, I got 15.5 there, 17.0 back?

Running 80 the entire way? Except for the part on the way back on route 30 in PA
PA moved all their mile markers closer together. Then they can claim they have more maintenance. Why do you think our gas tax is so high LOL

Nice campground right in town. Not too far from wal mart

So I stopped in Shanksville today otw home to see the United Flight 93 Memorial. Awe inspiring and a humbling experience. Colton didn’t fully understand it but he didn’t make a peep as we walked the flight path and down to the impact site. On the way back up, he stopped, and said, “Daddy, bad guys crashed plane. Bad guys go jail and die, stupid bad guys” with this angry pout face he gets.

I’d explained as best I could to a 3 year old before we’d gotten there that we were going to see a plane crash site and that bad guys had stolen the plane and crashed it. When he said that, I teared up a bit. I was already fighting them back at the visitors center.

If you haven’t gone, it’s worth the trip. Completely free too.

First. Driving home.
Dang do you ever sleep

I think this thread is almost 7/11, open 24

Its 12:30 AM here. I just got home from a birthday/ pool party. It was the most fun I ever had at a birthday party. The pool Is lit so you can see the bottom of the water.
They had a DJ and he was so awesome and played all the latest songs that I love and lots of DJ lights. The DJ sounds great because his speakers have a ton of bass. (Minty and professional) Lots of glow stick dancing and swimming.

The pool water was like 88 degrees and perfect and they had fireworks.

I think I ruined a really expensive dress because some guy was dancing with a beer and spilled it on me, he said I am too short and he didn't see me. (Dork)

I didn't drink but some of them were getting trashed.

I came home now to change and then we might go get some IHOP pancakes and then maybe back to the pool till sunrise, the night is just starting.

The dart is making a good party wagon LOL

I am riding shotgun and taking little cat naps.

Man, you all need to wake up, it’s too quiet in here, might start hearing ghosts
