Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning, moving slow today, day off, whew...work has been busy.
Headed to Ashville area tomorrow for a couple days, gonna relax with a former coworker whom I really miss, and his wife and their baby.
It is really too hot and muggy to drive the Fury much right now...you don't get stuck in traffic out here, a trip to the Irish pub today will be tolerable and the Fury wants to be driven. :)

It's Scamp Sunday!

Hey guys. Went back to Chiro this AM. Back is still bad. Hopefully have it in place now and just have to listen to doctors orders and rest/relax....that being said, heading out to the shop for a bit. Will try to be careful.

Knowing that issue way too well at the moment.

Opening day of deer season was yesterday. That explains some of the distant bangs I hear from the brush country between here and the beach. If only they were real deer. Little Black Tail Deer around here. Good time to stay out of Los Padres Nat. Forest. Seems to attract lots of LA hunters that think AK47 replicas are sporting arms.

Well, the Demon made it the furthest it has so far. No issues at all for the few miles I went. Have to test each nice day before I trust taking it to the local show on this Sat. Count that as a win....for now.

Sounds like my day, finally able to cut the hay field, stuff is so thick, that I had to run in the slowest gear, A1 on the quad range, ended up catching the hay bine on Fire when the slip clutch on the pto between the CV joint the gear box let go. Got the fire out, saved the tractor and hay bine but she needs a full rebuild now.

Looks like I’m gonna have to jerry rig up an alternator bracket for the poly. Not gonna have one by Friday

Road trip!
Found a shear for my stack of metal siding. Will save a ton of work. Wish i would have grabbed it last summer before doing the metal on the hay shed.

Discussion with the wife, we are building a carport. 20x50 on an existing slab. Great for parking customers vehicles.
I have most of the materials on hand, so why not?

OMG! I am stuffed. My birthday is coming up Wednesday. Since I work 2nd shift, my daughter treated me to dinner at Primanti Bros tonight. Started with a few flavors of boneless wings - awesome. Then a 'Brothers burger' (½ pound smashed patty, bacon, pastrami, fried egg, double provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion and banana peppers )·and fries. And of course a couple beers and she talked me into a 'green tea' shot. I must be getting old, I actually didn't finish my burger. Was starting to feel like I was gonna bust and it was either the last bite or two of the burger or the beer - Sam Adams Oktoberfest was good to the last drop. LOL Then my daughter asks the server 'do you do anything for birthdays?' Oh yeh they do - she brings out a huge brownie Sunday. Are you kidding me? At least it had 3 spoons... I took a couple bites like the appreciative birthday boy I am. But the wife and daughter killed it.

My oldest made it in a business magazine in the paper. He works at Aces a local computer software company.

It was! I did pass on the onions. Raw onions - especially red on top of all that and especially this late would have killed me with heartburn. What's interesting is peppers, hot stuff doesn't seem to bother me much.

Wife and I spent Saturday night with my two son at the track, best night together in 2 months!! I worked next to my sons setting up his car for a dry slick condition and Creed hit the set up perfectly and took second place in the feacher.
