You guys see this? Seems VW was not alone.
Here's how Ram and Jeep owners can collect FCA diesel settlement
“The settlements contain no findings of wrongdoing, nor admission of any wrongdoing, by FCA,” the automaker said in a statement. “The updated software does not affect average fuel economy, drivability, durability, engine noise, vibration, or other driving characteristics of the vehicles.”
Then why do it???

I just got a recall notice last week on the RAM about software and smog glitches. Apparently the PCM stores little "fault codes" that never appear to the driver that will materialize during a smog inspection and it will not pass.

Most likely when Chrysler was benchmark testing the VW diesels, they figured out what VW did and copied it... They must have figured that if VW could do that they could too...

Every manufacturer buys some of the competition's vehicles to test and see how they compare to theirs... You have to keep up with the competition so you can compete with them...

Mowing done. Pretty damn steamy out there. Bug population is way up. Driving through clouds of gnats and them little jumpy guys pop up all around as you drive through. Even with earplugs in I could hear them over the mower running when I got under the trees.

Beautiful car, but you did not mention anything about the engine in the ad or post any pictures of the engine.... View attachment 1715381394

There is an Engine???

Or gerbils on a treadmill under the hood...

HMMM could be.....

Ok you 2 clowns! The trunk and engine are as nice as the inside and outside!

Howdy folks, did my first fuel mileage calculation on the Duster, 7.1 mpg. Still working on the tune, but I’m pretty sure it’s all in the foot!

Sounds like my buddies' build. 490+ horse and 500 ft lb. He gets 15+ highway if he doesn't beat on it.
