Yep Mitch and John could start an online therapy group.Morning. WTF is up with body work guys?
Whats he kicking yours to the side for insurance work??I guess I just don't understand the business model for a paint and body shop. I did my best to try and get a solid relationship with owner. I paid cash and explained I really did not need paperwork just wanted car back as promised. That was a couple two or three deadlines ago. Not sure how he can point at a couple cars that were not on lot at last visit and explain Demon will be right after them. I am just not going to stress over it as this topic will wind me up like a clock. If I ran my business this way I would be tits up in no time.
Morning SirMorning MOPAR money hole owners!!
Its progressing but slowllyyyy.Good Morning. And speaking of painters....what is the story on Mitch's GTS and George?
Hey budMorning Sir
I would guess yes. If my understanding of the relationship between body shops and insurance companies is correct. Basically he is a slave to the insurance company. All else is secondaryWhats he kicking yours to the side for insurance work??
Sounds like the start of something special!!Hey Craig
Yeah I just don't get body guys at all never did. Tell you what that guys speedshop I was at yesterday has a really slick operation going. He gave me free run of the place to look around. Holy heck he has to have 20K in just new AN fittings around. He does not play if he needs something. Got his machine running and he is letting me put a few scopes in his waiting area for eye candy and if they sell He will get something out of it. Good guy win win for all of us.
Yep, I was slumming up the place next to them pretty cars.@MomsDuster
That you next to the Willys MD?
Well I wouldn't think too much about it until you go by and take a look.I am just going to sit back and let it all play out however it will. It is not like I can't find something to drive, and I figure if I got it back today I still couldn't get it done by winter. So figure this summer is lost and now I will shoot for next summer. Such is life
George isn't in the business really anymore. I think similar to Mitch's garage work. He'll take on a job if he wants. Difference is mechanical is generally in and out, and of course Mitch is getting done what comes in ASAP.I guess I just don't understand the business model for a paint and body shop. He actually wants to buy a leakdown tester and a newer scope. To bad I just sold that sleuth II would have been perfect for him. Have a few leakdown testers want to see which one looks the best have to dig them out and hope they survived the flood at Carlisle! He wants a scope from the 70's early 80's large screen and a cylinder kill also.Sounds like a super cool mutually beneficial opportunity.
