Stop in for a cup of coffee

I just came back from doctor's office and I talked to some physical therapist guys and a specialist today.

They are saying surgery is a reality.

The main reasons a simple incident turned out so bad is 3. Reasons.

1. I was slightly twisting when it happened, so my back was not straight when the weight did the damage.

2. I was off balance by wearing really high heels, adding to my spine not being straight when I needed it to be to handle the load. I have been lectured about heels before but it is what it is. "Heels throw off good geometry because in a situation like what happened, the feet want to go apart but the knees want to naturally go towards each other and your weight is coming down on it all".

3. I have old hardware in my back from an old injury from when I was a teen.

So, now that the shock is wearing off, time to just do what needs to be done.
Oh no, that is so sad. Would it be ok if I pray for you ? I am laying on the coach whining about the heat, but that is nothing compared to what you have to struggle with.

Wow, that sucks! I guess it's true 'no good deed goes unpunished' All this from a dang box...:BangHead:

So the local news just reported about a high speed interstate chase near me. Said the suspect kept evading the spike strips so the officers contacted the manufacturer and had them remotely disable the vehicle, bringing it to a stop.

I did not know that was even possible?
I think it depends on the equipment package. I think it needs both GPS and built in cell phone, either for talking or.internet.

With GM onstar it is......

On Star has its own internet connection....Does not require a cell phone or GPS to function...
I called onstar one time when the road was closed because of fire, and GPS could not connect because of the smoke. They gave me directions around the fire area. Nice!!

OnStar has a connection equivalent to a satellite phone. Unlike GPS, it does not rely on line-of-sight connection to the GPS network.

OnStar is an amazing tool and I have no issue with it being used to shut down a car being used in a crime like a theft, carjacking or kidnapping case.

They don’t do it unilaterally, law enforcement must make an official request on record and then they comply.

Nothing freaky about it...unless you think today’s date is 50 years ago.

Still working on my refrigerator. Decided to unplug it overnight, so the evaporator can fully defrost. But.... Where do I put all the food ? Ahhh...Light comes on... In the shop....

You have more food in your fridge than I do.

My fridge is almost empty.

I usually eat at work (free food, but not the best )
I pick up food when I am out and about or just not eat ( i get in trouble if i lose too much weight though)

Well has night shift started yet? I am practicing for tomorrow night, going to go see Bob Seeger and the Silver Bullet Band at the legendary Fargo Dome. Home of the 7 time National Championship NDSU football team. Should be a great show

San Diego Sports Arena 1970sumthin. At starting time they turn out the stage lights and the house lights. From the darkness we heard Alto Reed his sax player play an extended intro from Turn the Page. When they turned up the lights Alto was standing on TOP of the speaker stack 30' above the stage :D. Weird, I just found Still the Same video that was recorded at that show. San Diego I enjoyed with my future wife. A week later my little sister and I saw him at the Forum in LA. We had the LA tickets before I talked the GF into the San Diego outing.

Uhh Yeahh... Im a Guy. But I'm a good find.
I Like to Cook........

What's cooking good lookin.

I think most ladies would like to try what you have cookin'.

Seriously though, I hardly ever cook anymore because of lack of time and i usually end up tossing it because i am not home a lot and it's hard to cook for one. So much easier to hit a drive thru or cafeteria.

I like to cook, but would not call me a good find. lol And my wife complain that I have too much food in the fridge and the freezer.

If in a hurry for thawing a fridge or a freezer it is good to take the food out, and use a hair dryer or heat gun to melt the ice in a hurry. Or an electric heater with fan.

Bill

All I know to cook is Norwegian food.

My mother used her canister vacuum cleaner in reverse. It worked

i apologize for the picture of myself earlier, good grief, do I look like that. I scared myself when I looked at it on the big monitor, so I deleted it. Don't want to cause anyone to have a nightmare or anything.

Sorry.
