I have to take and pass a test today. If I do, I will be extending my contract for 1 year. Reason being, if I hit the year 15 mark, I can and likely will be medically retired.
 
Just suck it up 5 years goes fast ands more money if you get advanced. I know you actually love the guard job.

Yep. I think you’re right. But it’s no longer really up to me. Because of that seizure, I can only contract a year at the moment. No big deal, it’s the test I’m worried about. Never been this nervous about one before
 
Morning Gearheads!!
Every military member gets a PHA Physical Health Assessment once a year.
Chris never heard of a physical not being accepted because it sat on someone's desk to long.
It goes by the date on the paperwork.
As long as the Doctor signed off on it you should be good.
File an IG complaint. It wasn't your fault.

Finally getting some decent weather. Bet farmers will be cranking up today,and stuck all day. Ground around here is saturated.
Will be removing the ground screws and pulling tarp this morning.hope i can drag the frame without trashing it.

Yesterday was a nice break. Fam reunion went good. Need to get back in gear on the to-do list today. Want to get both rocker panel covers on the Neon. Need to rip the junky patches off the drivers side. Clean out the rust and get some primer in there. Then get both of them caulked and screwed on and paint them black. Not gonna bother welding. Just want it to look decent. Not trying to make it perfect. Was thinking of using 'bed liner', but not sure how rough that is. Don't want it to hold dirt.

Howdy, and good morning. How is things in la la Land ? Guard, as in coast guard ?

I do not feel myself as a former guard, but I kind of liked being in the military. That was an excellent year of my life. When I applied for the Green card in 2013 my wife and I went to an office and an interview, and my military service came up. The officer was asking a lot of questions about it, and finally she went over the limit and asked questions that would be considered a matter of national security, so I told her, I am not going to answer more military questions. She was surprised, but let it go. My wife was shocked that I had cut off the immigration officer, but at some point enough is enough. I am not dangerous to anyone in the us, but not going to sort of tell whatever I did in the military.
