Stop in for a cup of coffee

I am ok with one of my forefathers being King Erik the Good in Denmark, but it is less comforting that his father was King Sveinn Skirt Chaser. :elmer:

Oh man, when I read about these people from back then, I am almost pissing myself so I am laughing. Talk about getting nicknames for the way they looked or acted.
I wish it was easier for you here in the US to find out about your family background way back in time. It is hilarious reading. Who cares when you go back 1000 years in time, but it is good theater.

Wow. It’s 80 degrees plus here.
And bloody humid.
Got most of tarp shed base framed. Looking good so far.

No just treated lumber, to back fill gravel against. Geotextile first then gravel on top. Will make it high and dry. Space to park projects in, basically short term storage.

afternoon everyone, gota head to the garage and get cleaning. Car show this weekend, Barracudas turn.

chugged some mountain dew and I am up

took awhile to get up and I am moving slowly but I am up...…..too much laying down is for cows

I'm doing the same thing tonight actually. my brother had a pretty good idea and we're gonna roll with it.

im curious how that turns out, I need to do the same to my polara's

I am curious too. All the lows are filled, at least I hope I got at least 95% of the lows high enough. I will send pics. I can not file down anything until tomorrow. I need it to be really hard before I do it. It is fine to handle after an hour or so, but it is not rock hard until 24+ hours. And that is how at least I want it before filing. Well, it is not going to be rock hard, that was not the correct word. It is a bit flexible, but so hard that it comes off as dust, and not as syrup clogging up my file if you understand what I mean.
i tried to use my Dremel, but I went back to the file, I felt I have more control over it, and my eyesight is not the best either. I should have had prescription reading glasses, but have only cheap cheaters. I am too cheap to have some made for me, even if I have eye insurance too. I just hate to spend money. I wonder how I will be when I am 77, and not 57 like now. :D

You are only as old as the Woman you Feel.....

Metallic paint is difficult. To get right. Laquer is easiest

I so struggle with this, in Norway we have "lakk" for cars, and no matter what "lakk" it is, it is still "lakk". Here you have laquer, and you have paint, and you have coatings, and oh ... it makes me nuts, I have no idea about the difference. If it is any difference. I mean, we have many different kind of "lakk", but it is still "lakk", as a difference to "maling" as usually is for houses and wood. We differ by saying "cellulose lakk", or acryl lakk", or "waterbased lakk", or "alkyd lakk". Lol, life is not always easy. And then we have "regular lakk", and "metallic lakk". And "clear lakk".

Maybe I could be 'King Ben the Skirt Chaser'!
Already got a boat picked out!

Lakk sounds like it is the generic name for paint............

Of any kind usually not used on wood, except if it is clear and used on floors, then it is "lakk" too. :) Lakk is usually the name used for a coating that is fairly hard and brittle.
